UPDATE ON THE UGBORODO GUNMEN ATTACK: DELTA STATE GOVERNOR DENIES ATTACK

His Excellency, Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.

The Governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan gave an official statement through the Secretary of State(SSG), Comrade Ovuzorie Macaulay that there is no shooting going on in Ugborodo Escravos. The Governor, in his statement which was shown on the Delta Rainbow Television 7'Oclock news says it is the enemies of Delta state that are spreading false rumours. Read our story on the attack HERE

We however got an unconfirmed tip that the governor is expected in Ugborodo any time from today. One is forced to wonder, why is the governor going to a place where he says there is no agitation? It would seem that there is a cover up of some sort going on here... we are watching.

The sponsors of this attack on the people of Ugborodo community are allegedly some "Warri Big Boys/Men" who largesse at the expense of the community without developing the place as is expected of them.
