Samsung Galaxy S5 debuts Friday


After weeks of waiting, pre-orders from various carriers and retailers across the world, as from today,you can just head to a store, pay some money and walk out with a new Galaxy S5.


Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Galaxy S5 is dust and water resistant, includes a 5.1 inch HD screen, a 16MP fast focus camera, enhanced Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity, S Health 3.0 and a new finger scanner technology.It has a perforated pattern design on the back cover and will come in charcoal black and shimmery white.
Consumers have made the Galaxy one of the best-selling smartphones in the world and we are curious to see how the sales of the Galaxy S5 will go. 
Samsung’s Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit Samsung wearable bands — equipped with built in heart-rate monitors — are hitting retailers today Friday as well, along with the new phone.
Now on to the most important detail, pricing! The S5 is available from multiple Canadian carriers and for $229 on select plans at the Samsung Experience Store. Prices for a SIM-free Galaxy S5 start at £570 in the UK and $649 in the US, while the Gear Fit costs £169 and $199 and the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo start at £199 and $199.Or... you can just get it at Konga( free advert...LOL)  in Nigeria for N110k.
