EUPHORIA: COULD SHE BE THE NEXT BEST THING?

On the 28th of April, Euphoria graced the Nigerian music industry with her first music single  "Love Is Not Enough"; and her music and person seems to be getting some good critical reviews. In some corners, people are whispering that she may just be the next top female artiste to join the leagues of Omawumi, Tiwa Savage, Waje, to mention but a few. 


Her single, Love is Not Enough has this jazzy upbeat tempo of the 80s and 90s, the startup rhythm is interestingly reminiscent of Bobby Mcferrin's  'Don't Worry, Be Happy'.

The song, masterfully produced by Doktafrabz who has produced songs for artistes like Omawumi,Waje etc who have gone on to become some of the few Nigerian A-list female artistes rather light-heartedly reconfirms just how respect and care is a large, practical part of loving someone, as opposed to the simpler art of just professing the words.

Euphoria's soulful voice and the song's beat makes this a deserving attempt at something altogether different from what we see in the Nigerian Music scene. 

Although the number is increasing, there is still a huge difference between the A-list male artistes and their female counterparts. If Euphoria can add up to that number,we say why not? we hope more females rise up and make impact in the Nigerian Music Industry.
