OSCAR PISTORIUS gets Murder Trial Date

South African athlete, Oscar Pistorius has officially been  given a trial date for the premeditated murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at a hearing at Pretoria magistrates' court.

Oscar Pistorius learned that he faces potentially damaging testimony from an Ex girlfriend  and a South African soccer star as part of the murder charge he must answer, for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.



The Blade Runner (Pictured with Reeva in happier times) ,was handed papers by a magistrate setting out that he stands accused of committing pre-meditated murder on Valentine's Day by firing four shots at Steenkamp with a 9mm pistol through a locked toilet door at his gated home in Pretoria, South Africa. Mr Pistorius denies murdering Ms Steenkamp. He says he shot her after mistaking her for an intruder. According to the prosecuting counsel, the trial dates of 3rd to 20th March had been mutually agreed on.
Pistorius who was granted bail in February and has since resumed some low-key training could spend up to 25yrs in prison if found guilty.
A statement from the office of South Africa's national police commissioner read: "The South African Police Service is hopeful that justice will prevail,"
Lets hope Justice will truly prevail. Do you think Oscar would be found guilty?

    Only God,Oscar and Reeva truly knows what happened that night. I hope he doesn't walk like zimmerman did sha.. Make we dey look. Hmmm

    I believe no man in his right sense will kill another human being, I believe if he said he didn't do it, then I believe he didn't do it. Someone as famous as he his won't do that.

    I pray he is charged guilty. He is evil, he killed that fine girl for only God knows what. Maybe he has mental problems

    Abeg Oscar knew what he was doing when he shot Reeva! That girl died a sad death and seeing her on TV show just after she died must have caused even more pain for family. You cant just shoot at someone cos you think they are breaking in........she no shout after the first shot?
